MYCS Movement For the Nargis Storm Victims Of Burma

Dear MYCS Brothers & Sisters,

I hope everyone has heard about the Nargis Storm in Myanmar. As a MYCS movement, we are going to start the collection for your donations from now on next two weeks. We heard Burmese Teachers and Students from ABAC are planning to help with their pocket money and Karuna Commission in our Yangon Archdiocese is helping the Victims. We will divide your donations into two and we will give one to the Burmese teachers who will go back to Yangon and one to Karuna Commission Yangon. If you want to donate, please contact the following people:

- Theresa Ma Lay (0815654348)
- Suzanne (0890558148)

I recently received the sad message from one of my friend from Yangon and I didn't edit and post it here. That is .....

"The damage is huge and many lives were taken, no one could clear the dead bodies. The alive have to take clothes from the dead as they don't have anything to cover. Many are naked. No one dares going back to their old places as they are much frightened. Some go crazy. Many lost their family. Still don't know whether they are in the refugee camps or dead or suffering in the place where no one could go. Among the refugees, only few children and women are seen."

Thank you all in advance!

Hi all,

It's great for all your concern and good that we have 2 options. IMCS is asking if some of MYCS member's families are including in Victims and they plan to help directly.

So we should reply to them too.
